History:
Born and raised in the city of Detroit, MI, Prophet Sylvester Johnson had always felt, but did not know, that God had a “Call” upon his life. John 15:16, Jude 1:1
In 1982, He was called, by the Lord, out of Detroit into the Ann Arbor, MI area to prepare him for ministry. In the Call, He had began to search for “TRUTH”. And while searching, He found it in JESUS CHRIST the Son of God. John 8:32
In 1990, the Lord began to show him the “Purpose” of His call — in that, He saved him, chose him, ordained him, appointed him, and anointed him to be a Prophet. Jeremiah 1:4-5
Therefore, yielding to The Spirit Of Truth and operating in the divine strength of God’s Grace, since 1990, he has been proclaiming to the Church, The Body of Christ; the Mandates of God’s heart.
THE PROPHETIC CHARGE: He truly believe, God is sending a strong prophetic awakening and readiness message to the Body of Christ, in these last days, to prepare His people for “What shall befall them in the latter days”.
The foundation of “The Spirit of Truth Ministries” is to embark upon the “Will” of God and to impart the vision of His will and His Heart to His people (for the edification of the Church) and to the world (for the saving of the Soul) —– That the scriptures might be fulfilled in this …
… And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ. Eph 4:11-13
For behold, the alarm is sounding loud and the trumpets of His servants, the prophetic voices, goeth forth declaring: He shall come as a theif in the night and all that sleepeth shall be caught, unawares.
Hear and hearken to what the Lord is saying to all: before destruction, there is always a warning, and a way of escape made possible. He is shaking the heavens and the earth, that those things which cannot be shaken, shall remain.
Thus saith the Lord: Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. (Isaiah 60: 1-2)
The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up. From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. (Matthew 4:16-17)
